The restaurant has a large interior area with high ceilings and a flambé cart, as well as a lively beer garden where you can watch the sun and the hustle and bustle on Postplatz in summer.

The menu at Calanda offers something for every taste. From the popular chicken specialties with a secret spice mix to the seasonal weekly specials such as moules et frites to the vegetarian and vegan options such as vegetable sticks with avocado cream or salmon crepes. The portions are generous and the prices are fair. You can also choose from an extensive drinks menu, which, in addition to draft beer, also offers a good selection of wines, cocktails and coffee specialties.

The highlight of Calanda is the breakfast buffet, which is offered every Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. For CHF 37.50 per person you can enjoy a wide range of options that leave nothing to be desired. From various types of bread, Bircher muesli, yoghurts, homemade jams, a selection of cheeses, sausages, fresh fruit and fruit salad to pancakes with maple syrup, rösti and fried bacon to the egg dishes freshly prepared on the flambé trolley. There are also gluten-free breads/cereals as well as soy milk and soy yogurt on offer for allergy sufferers.
